This smart robot chassis (Acrylic) kit is really nice and a very good choice for anyone wanting to start in Raspberry Pi robotics. All you need to mount the chassis is included in the package. The chassis is mounted very fast in 10 to 15 minutes. All you need is a screw driver. The height between two chassis can be changed by different copper pillars. A set of 30mm pillars is included in the package. Between the chassis is enough space to mount the battery or some electronic. With the four DC motors the robot car is very fast and it makes fun to drive through your living room.
For my different chassis I build from scratch with cardboard and out of LEGO bricks this robot car chassis kit helps you to start immediately with your robot project.

With the line speed encoders you are able to program your robot and your robot is able to have very accurate movements if you are able to read the encoder status. I had not the components to read the encoders but maybe in the future I will upgrade my robot car.
The next picture shows the robot chassis with the yellow DC motors, the two Acrylic chassis and the package with the screws, pillars, speed encoders etc..
The next pictures shows the mounted four DC motors, the step-down converter as well the motor driver. It was very easy to mount the DC motors with the screws. On top of the DC motors the next chassis will be mounted with the Raspberry Pi, usb wifi dongle and the Raspberry Pi camera. At the end you onlay have to mount the wheels and to fire up your Raspberry Pi with the robot control software.

Conclusion robot chassis
It was very easy to build the robot car with this smart car robot chassis kit. The chassis is very stable and you with the 4 wheel drive you are very agile while driving through your living room. The steering I programed is a little bit bumpy but the chassis was not damaged while driving by full speed into the living room furniture .
