BigRob robot – pulling the  buggy

This is one task BigRob was designed for 😉 With the differential GPS the robot could follow waypoints and drive around in the yard.

This was the second test drive with the BigRob in the yard. The fecus during this test drive was to test the steering and off-road capabilities of the chassis. The second test was to check the wifi signal in the yard and the communication stability of the differential GPS setup.

BigRob is a Raspberry Pi powered robot for driving off road. The video shows the robot by – 12°C driving around in fluffy snow. This was a very early test after finishing the setup of all the electronic components and the chassis.

The video shows the BigRob robot driving around in our yard at twilight and night. I installed a IR flood light and a Raspberry Pi NoIR camera module on top of the robot.

This is my BigRob a Raspberry Pi powered robot for outdoor usage. I installed two very stron motor drivers to drive the four DC worm motors I installed for each whell.
